Ice floating is an Arctic swim in the Kola Bay (part of the Arctic ocean) near Murmansk on the basis of the yacht club (Drovyanoe district)! It takes only 30 minutes by car to reach the ice floating site.

Every winter, craftsmen populate the park with new buildings. Huge halls and halls are connected by passages: the walls are decorated with expressive murals, bas-reliefs and installations. Sledding with Siberian huskies is one of our guests' favorite winter tours! (1 km track)

During the program, Kayur will tell us how to drive a sled and all the nuances of riding sled dogs. After that, the most interesting thing begins — husky safari! We will ride a husky sled across the snowy forest tundra. The length of the route is 1 km.

On this trip, we will get to the ancient city of Kandalaksha in the south of the Murmansk region and swim in sea water with ice in special waterproof suits. It is important that the one–way trip takes 3 hours. Ice floating takes place from December to March.

We will swim on the snowy shore of the White Sea with drifting ice floes. In winter, an ice sheet is formed here. Also, when swimming, you can meet marine animals – seals and lakhtaka. Before swimming, the instructors will tell you about all the nuances, choose a suit for your size and help you put it on and take it off. After that, we head to the icy shore and go down into the water. We will have professional instructors with us throughout the voyage.

After Icefloating, we will go to lunch at a restaurant or cafe of your choice.

CLOTHES
Before ice floating, you need to take off your outerwear (jacket, trousers, hat, shoes, mittens/gloves). The suit is worn over thermal underwear. You can use fleece clothing without a hood. The costume is worn without a headdress.
You also need to take off your shoes. You can bring warm socks with you.
Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes. During active movements and diving, a small amount of water can get inside the suits.
If you have long hair, take a hair band and put your hair in a ponytail below the nape of your neck.
